What is the difference between the different styles of chenille?

A.
There are two different types of stitches for chenille, a loop stitch and a chain stitch. The loop stitch, called chenille, is the fluffy part of the emblem. This is the bulk of what is seen on the emblem and some emblems can have multiple chenille colors in the design. The chain stitch can be the same color as the chenille and gives it a clean finished appearance or a contrasting color to give it definition. This can also be used to give a mascot depth when used for the eyes, teeth and other facial detail. Many sports patches have the contrasting chain stitch to show off its shape for easier recognition.
A.
Contrasting Stitch is a 2 mm wide stitch that is a contrasting color to the chenille and generally there is one (1) to two (2) rows of this stitch around the outside of the emblem.
A Chenille Border is a different chenille color around the main part of the chenille. It consists of a loop chenille stitch and generally covers 1/4″ – 1/2″ in width.

What is HPO vs PSA for loose Applique Cut Material

A. HPO (Heat Press On) is normally what we will send you unless you request otherwise plus it’s cheaper. You can just heat it onto your garment or use a spray adhesive for an applique process.
PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) has a paper coating on the back so you can peel and stick it to your garment.
